Three lifts for over eleven floors feels insufficient, especially with one often out of service. The separate toilet design can be awkward, forcing a trip out to wash hands after use. The pool time restriction to thirty minutes can be a hassle if you’re keen on more downtime, and the mattress lacks comfort, making sleep a little more challenging than expected.

The location of Novotel is excellent, allowing easy access to the docks and city center. The staff were very accommodating and assisted effectively with my work needs. The room was clean, modern, and a good value for the price.

One downside was that the sofa bed was uncomfortable for the kids, which made bedtime tricky. The pool was also broken during my stay, which was a letdown as we were looking forward to that. It could’ve made our stay much better. I wish the water bottles were complimentary instead of extra.
